Good Relative Warm Line
Need a listening ear?
Warm Line is a free, confidential, non-emergency phone and chat service for adults that provides prevention-focused, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, peer-led emotional support and resource connection for individuals and families during times of distress. The Warm Line is for anyone who may be experiencing mental health, substance use challenges, or other life stressors, and the goal is to provide support early, before situations escalate into crisis.
Talk to a Good Relative
The Good Relative Warm Line is a safe place to talk with a caring peer who truly understands what you are going through.
Instead of a person with power over you and your children’s lives, you speak with a "relative" who can support you through navigating tough systems, like housing or child welfare, with zero judgment.
It’s a way to find support and community healing from Lived Experts before a stressful situation turns into a crisis.

Why a Warm Line?
A Child’s Dream is founded on the belief that Native American parents and other underserved families deserve culturally grounded, trauma-informed, and empowering support while navigating child welfare and social service systems. Rooted in lived experience, we recognize the lasting impacts of historical trauma and systemic inequities and are committed to creating pathways toward healing, stability, and self-determination. We carry this commitment forward our development a Volunteer Peer Support-based Warm Line that provides compassionate, peer-based support and meaningful connections.
